Blissful Blueberry Bran Muffins

These little beauties are about as healthy as muffins can be.. and are perfect for breakfast or a post run treat!

Dry Ingredients:

2 cups wheat bran

1 cup oatmeal

1 cup whole wheat flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

big smattering of flax seeds

big sprinkle of cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

2 eggs

2/3 cup almond milk

2/3 cup apple sauce

1/3 cup agave

Mix wet and dry together ever so carefully and then fold in 1 1/2 cups of fresh blueberries and 1/2 cup slivered almonds..

Bake at 375 degrees until cooked in the middle! 🙂
